Paddling 1:30:00 [4] 9.0 km (10:00 / km)

Another Great Practice. Dry land - running intervals 20 sec (sprint) on 10 sec off (great way to puke) for 2.5 kms. Push-up, sit-ups.
Range of motion of my elbow is getting better and better. Ankle is feeling better as well. Still going to stay off the trails for a few more days.
workout on the water was 500m turn and go's Our finnish is certainly feeling stronger (we broke 2:10. Now we have to keep that consistent. My stroke is improving, however, I have to keep the paddle more verticle says the 4 time olympian coach....

Paddling (Dragon Boat Practice) 1:30:00 [4] 9.0 km (10:00 / km)

Great practice. I was able to do the pushups and dips during the dryland portion of the practice indicating that my range of motion of my scraped up elbow is getting better. The 400m runs went ok as well. My ankle is ok on road. However, I still feel pain on un-even ground. The recovery conitnues.
Nothing beats a beautiful sunny day on Toronto Harbour, getting a great workout with a great crew. The nasty smell of the harbour certainlty caused our intervals of 4 mins on 2 min off become harder and harder with the stronger smell.

Oreinteering (TOC/Navstock) 2:00:02 [3]

What a great oreienteering event. It seems like it has been a while since an orienteering map was put in front of me. Felt good to get back into it. Took me a while to get used to the short distance between controls, however, I feel as though I got the hang of it after the first couple of controls. I managed to roll my ankle on the southern map (map a). Luckily it was in the second half of the race. I could be out for a little while with this one. I can only put about 75% of my body weight on it. Lots of ice, Advil, and what?...rest...are you kidding me? Tiny, it was nice to race with you, thanks for sacrificing max. points by racing with my intermetiate abilities. I will/should get better the more I do. Thanks for the points and learnings.

Ascending/Repelling 2:00:00 [3]

What a way to spend a summer afternoon - repelling/ascending off a cliff at rattlesnake point. Well done Tiny on the ascending. I can only imagine what it's going to feel like at Untammed when we have ascend up 100ft suffering from huge sleep deprivation. However, my buds who were teaching us, a huge thanks to you guys. If anyone in ARing needs any type of instruction/teaching on how to ascend or repel I know a couple of great guys who'd be willing to teach ya. Contact me.
Ankle is quite sore and puffy. I'll be taking Monday off for sure -
