| Hiked past Chapel Falls and Chapel Lake to Chapel Rock and Chapel Beach in Pictured Rocks national Lakeshore. Stable Flies were bad at beach and Superior was cold - but a great day for a pleasant hike with Fran. |

| Rented mountain bikes on Grand Island and circumnavigated the island. Nothing advanced, but long uphills and downhills. Mostly packed dirt, some mud.
Much of route on bluffs over Lake Superior. Great views; stiff wind; sunny and warm.
