Walking 3:30:00 [2]

SC hike -- hilly; trails in rough shape. Group of 12. Collected a few ripe paw paws. Spider webs but no ticks or chiggers.
Used 2 walking sticks for first time -- significantly helped in not tweaking left ankle. Chose route so that steeper, rougher hills were up, not down. Ankle feels stronger every day.

Walking 3:00:00 [2]

Testing ankle and trails at Babler for leading SC hike Friday. Overall, ankle did well as I learned the 'one' movement NOT to make -- did tape and wrap it.

Cycling 3:03:00 [2]

To JB via Carondelet & RDP; then Grant's Trail and eventually FP. 3 stops for rest & water. Hot & windy - still felt pretty good.

Been lethargic since AK trip - not sure why. Did make nice slide show!
After procrastinating a year on repairing back porch, I finally started [will pay neighbor for help]. Day 1 - lifting 20 lb bucket of salt to get it out of my way,, pulled/tore an ankle tendon! Left ankle, outside. Surprisingly rapid recovery allowed repair work yesterday & ride today. Good if flat-footed; painful tweaks when torqued left.
