Walking 14:40 [3]

Biennial treadmill stress test. [Speed and incline increases every 3 minutes.] Took to 12 minutes to get to target heart rate (128). Wanted to go to 16 minutes but I'd been at target for 2+ minutes, legs tired from past 2 days, and technician seemed "concerned". She was impressed that HR stayed under 100 up to 9-minute increment. Quick recovery & 'all clear' lab report.

Walking 3:20:00 [3]

On and off trail at Babler - lots of hills.
Started at 10 AM. Best recent walk in terms of energy, knees, and legs until it reached near 90 at end. Horse trails a bit muddy but passable. Bugs and ticks.
Harvested about 5 pounds of Chicken of the Woods - will dry some.
Also, a fawn (?) (no stripes left) passed by within 30 feet as I stood still -- it saw me but only jolted when I moved to turn.

Cycling 2:20:00 [2]

Stop at BJC. 2 loops of FP; lunch at Medina's (quite good) in CWE; then off to Arch to check water level - high!
Lots of people hanging out.
GO BLUES!!!!

Walking 45:00 [2]

Stop in FP to walk a few hills.

Walking 1:00:00 [2]

Recovery day from lack of sleep, too much on-pavement walking, and stress of weekend trip -- though group was fun and cooperative.
Then got out for TGP walk - stayed on grass. What a variety of groups of people in the park [as Pagan Festival was ending in E end]! Saw a Cooper's Hawk sitting in sun on very high perch on dead tree - very serene.
