Jogging to the start partly with Abi
Around the assembly field after managing to peel myself off the floor and avoid cramp

JK Long 26th 17.7km
Set off steadyish I think before realising I was just dawdling a bit when heading towards 7 and trying to speed up a bit. Missed 12 a fair bit managed to run in to the out of bounds binning at least 2mins or so. Then another little error running back in to the road crossing at 16.
Second half went okayish, caught my 3min man up after the second road crossing which was good but also quite annoying as he was running better than me and pulling away across the spectator, before dropping in line and following me hard. He ran away from me up the incline to 34 and thought he was gone. My legs decided to go bang here and ground to a halt almost. Managed to keep moving somehow and make it in to the finish which hurt!

Felt strong (but steady) for about 10miles before going pop. Not fast enough to get anywhere near. Find it confusing to be ~6mins behind the winner at Donard last week over 10km but 30mins down over 20km this weekend with no huge errors.

JK Middle 6.4km 125m 37th
Didn't start well failing to orientate my map quickly enough and running in to the wrong bit of forest ~45s/1min. Banana'd 2 a bit then 5. Settled down a bit after that and was going alright before getting caught by Jack Wood who proceeded to drive me on a bit until 24 which I misread slightly and ballsed it up.
Reckon a clean run would have put me ~3mins faster. So markedly average. Need to run faster/get fitter too.

Down Otterspool Park before heading up to the top of the prom and back down Aigburth Road then a lap of Sefton to finish. Went the other way round Sefton, didn't feel right

Bit of a brisk run down to Sefton Park
Jog back up towards the Cricket Club
Two strides with a tight hamstring
Jog back the short way.

X-Country intervals 26:00 [5] 6.21 km (4:11 / km) +40m 4:03 / km
shoes: Saucony Killkenny XC

4*5mins (2mins) on the grass at Sefton Park, didn't know how I was going to feel during these so suggested I may drop down after 2 reps but felt alright and managed to churn out a pretty consistent pace.
Distances: 1.47, 1.46, 1.45, 1.46

Struggled with my breath a bit on the first went off a bit too hard I think
