Scottish 6 Day 6 Loch Ordie M18L =8th

Had my best run of the week but thats because I was knackered and took it slowly so everything was simpler. Had a miss on no.20, crossed the southern most stream by accident then had to recross it.

1. Got a bit confused but managed to work out where I was and where I was going

Had a good run but felt really tired and wasn't helped by an early start, got caught 6mins by Peter.

Scottish 6 Day 4 M18L 9th Tentsmuir

Had a good run until the end, was maybe a bit slow but pleased as I felt I coped well with the sand dune contour detail. Messed up no.19 and no.21 which meant Cherry caught me up which I was a bit dissapointed about. But managed to lose him when he missed no.23.

3. Good but slightly hesitant at the gorse just before it
4. Missed it and hit the track bounced back in and found it

8. Got dragged over to the horseshoe hill but relocated quickly

Scottish 6 Day 3 Tullochroisk M18L 21st

Not very good today, was slow to no.1, made a big mistake to no.2 then was fine till no.5, made a big mistake contoured too low and then got confused and the ride junction then was fine through the rest. No.15 I was standing on the crag but couldn't see it.

1. Took a wierd route around the rides when it was quicker and easier to go straight
2. Came out of no.1 the wrong way and found the wrong bit of green then couldn't work out where I was

5. Contoured round to low hit the green then a ride junction then ran around there for a bit unsure relocated and found it
6. Fine but feeling a bit tired

Monday Aug 3, 2009 #

Scottish 6 Day 2 Kinnoull Hill M18L 4th

Again a good race felt strong running, caught Cherry up 4mins at 15 which I was pleased at. Was quite solid navigationally till halfway round, made a few mistakes then pulled it back together. Pleased that I was only 50secs down on Tom.

1. Set off too fast with Speakey so had to stop to relocate but good
2. Good, almost stumbled upon it
3. Good, was leading here
4. Good till in the circle missed it then faffed around with the bush

6. Missed it slightly ended up dropping too low
7. Good again till the circle got confused and ran straight past it
8. Good till circle again, not far away but couldn't see it
9. Tried to contour but dropped way too far ended up running a long way

12.Good, but it felt quite a long way across

14.Ok missed it slightly ended up in the clearing west of the control
15.Dropped down to the track junction so it was easier

Scottish Day 1 Dalruzion M18L 6th

Had a good run, felt strong all the way round. Made two small mistake at no.3, ended up too high,and no.14, where I dropped too low. And 2 medium mistakes on no.7, found a small hill and made a parallel error ending up too high, and no.13, found an unmarked ditch and got confused, but still really pleased with my run and placing.
