Orienteering (scotjos) 50:00 [3] **
started with a exercise where youve got loadsa controls on hills (area had lots of little hills). mass start but gaffeled. certainly got the brain working. Had same Gaffel as Jase, so kinda ended up going round with him.

Then little course round area but with paths taken off. was BRAMMLEY!!!! :( so legs are minging now. :( mucked up No.7. caught up some of the lads and got distracted and dragged to left. relocated pretty quickly though. otherwise very clean. was running at a comfortable pace- enough to get HR up.
Stetching and Exercises (scotjos) 30:00 [0]
Hamstrings very tight and could feel bum when running so didnt do 2nd course or "fun" relay at end. Stretched and gossiped instead. took a while to get them loosen off though.....

Orienteering (Scotjos weekend) 1:00:00 [2] * 4 km (15:00 / km)
had to help with coaching. Maureen went and gave me my sis's age (why?!) but luckily managed to dump her on someone else. Ended up with Karen and Frances Brown. Worked on compass bearings since Frances didnt know how to do one (!). Karen very confident with her techniques-impressed!
Shadowed them for about 4 of the courses. Wasnt very fast pace though and technically very easy.
Felt good to be running but a bit sore. Very tight hamstrings. :(

Thursday Feb 21

Swimming (squad) 15:00 [2] 1 km (15:00 / km)
warm up started with 1x1000m FC every 3rd length IM drill. Started off fine but when i got to about 500m had a headache - presumed i was just dehydrated so continued. but got worse with every tumble. once id finished the 1km me head was throbbing so hard! got out and down heaps off water but then vision started to go blurry and could see black spots so decided to call it a day. bit scary.... only thing i can think of is that ive had sore eyes (like with the light) yesturday and today.... :(

Tuesday Feb 19

cycling (to tom's cairn) 45:00 [4]
Grrr stupid control taker-inners left half the markers out so was out on that bloody hill again!!! To make it worse had to cycle there as well. :( :( :(
Legs well tired.
Running (getting in controls/marke) 1:20:00 [3]
managed all controls without looking at map!
cycling (from Toms Cairn back home) 40:00 [4]
whoo a lot faster on way back even though i was knackered!!!! (not that it was downhill most way...)

Monday Feb 18
