Saturday event at the Pinnacle. I've been a bit hesitant to run offroad lately, because my braces have cut into my ankles and any ankle protection just worsens the cuts. Hoping they heal soon so that I can try padding against the braces, but it's taking ages. Decided to risk it today and take it easy, but the terrain was worse than I remembered and at the forth control I rolled an ankle, but fortunately no harm done - bit of a warning perhaps. Also had a pretty sloppy race because I was worried about rolling an ankle, bearings on controls 1, 3, and 4 were off. After that I think I tidied it up a bit. Very few seconds lost on each though.

Rode into uni and back. Been a while since I've ridden, felt good.

Run (Cockatoos Training) 1:00:00 [4]

Run before our meeting. Had around a 25 minute warm up around Southwell oval, before heading into North Lyneham to do some hill intervals in the streets. Went up and down 6 circuits, then back again for 12 hill reps. Felt great.

Cockatoos run up Mt Majura, followed by a while running through the pines at a sedate pace before picking it up again towards the end. Felt really good.
