Friday Jun 27

Hill-running hills (Ben Sheann) 44:00 [5]4 km (11:00 / km) +430m 7:09 / km
ahr:170 max:179 (injured) shoes: VJ Twister
Ran up Ben Sheann and around the peaks.
Used to race route up and down to find predicted time.
Hill-running (Ben Sheann plus) 44:00 [3]2.7 km (16:18 / km)
ahr:143 max:173 (injured) shoes: VJ Twister
Warm-up jog, jog around top of ben Sheann and cool-down jog with Ceana and/or Kyle.

Thursday Jun 26

Running long (Strathyre Slaloms) 31:00 [4]5.6 km (5:32 / km)
ahr:165 max:181 (injured) shoes: Saucony Grid Fusion
Just headed off for a nice half hour jog. Got to the bottom of the slaloms by 16 mins and then headed back. Obviously picked up the speed then as the return started with a steep run up the slaloms.

Wednesday Jun 25

Hill-running race (Red Moss Revolution) 54:24 [5]9 km (6:03 / km) +220m 5:23 / km
ahr:182 max:190 (injured) shoes: Saucony Grizzly Approach
Taped the ankle up tight, so posed no problems.
Poor, poor footwear choice made things difficult halfway in.
O shoes, or newly purchased fell shoes are a must for next time.

Monday Jun 23

Running long (Arthur's Seat Road) 34:06 [4]5.8 km (5:53 / km)
ahr:171 max:183 (injured) shoes: Saucony Grid Fusion
Went for a jog around Arthur's Seat, keeping to the grass along the road.
Could feel the sore ankle, but it didn't hinder the run.
Kept it short in order to go graduation shopping.
