Sunday Jun 8 | ||
| Note | ||
| (rest day) | ||
| Sunday is a day of rest, but not for the furniture builders....
More flat pack assembly.... Hubbie (who had man-flu) came to inspect progress. I think he was quite impressed...

| (rest day) | ||
| Another rest day, that wasn't!
A little trip to Ikea to purchase a car load of flat packed furniture. Tori and I entertained the punters putting the v. large matress on the roof of the v. tall volvo... Boxes had to be carried up two flights to the flat, before the joys of assembly could begin. Arm muscles beginning to ache...

| Note | ||
| (rest day) | ||
| It wasn't exactly a rest day but I didn't do any exercise that was really logable on Attackpoint.
Got the keys to the flat. Brought a car load of stuff from home for the flat. By "car load" I mean large car load, not little Ka load, so lots of stuff to be carried up two flights of stairs. It was then over to the Halls to empty out Tori's room (again on the second floor!) and transfer to new flat. How much stuff can one girl have!!? Good workout. Strength and conditioning me thinks...

Barr Wood WEE. Hubbie wanted an easy run so offered to shadow me round the long course but he hadn't expected that i'd be quite so slow... My legs were feeling a little tired after last night's run and I have in the past found Barr Wood a little tricky so was taking it slowly and I went even slower once in to the bracken.... Not sure that he will offer to shadow me again for a while... He spotted that I stop fairly frequently too, to look at the map. I think it was a combination of wanting a rest from running, not wanting to trip over, not able to read the map on the move and, possibly most importantly, I couldn't be arsed... Dinner and fine chat at the Pirnhall

A good crowd for the run from Roger's in Braco. A lovely mixture of tracks, moor and woods with plenty of fence crossing practice. I think I might have mastered the foot on top, hand on post technique.... and thought I might need to put it in to practice when a bull took an interest in us...
