Run 31:34 [4] 5.0 km (6:19 / km) +100m 5:44 / km
ahr:167 max:192 spiked:5/6c rhr:40 slept:8.0

Felt like I could have gone a lot faster, but put my ceiling at 168 bpm and my floor at 153bpm(80%). On the way back I hit a max HR of 192, that is 10 higher than before and this fits in with what I expected from training done over a year ago.

First run in a while, because of holiday to Thailand. Feel a bit sniffy. Run was okay, but legs were heavy at the end.

Rainy day. Ran down to the canal and did intervals along there. Ran for three minutes at +90% then ran until heart rate was below 70% and repeated this 6 times in total. For the intervals I ran for 18min at max and 14min 6 secs recovering.

ahr:136 max:140 spiked:18/19c rhr:40 slept:8.0

Hot today, Drank two glasses of water before going out. HR was quite erratic at first, but did settle down. Knees were a little sore, but not too bad. Much faster than last time.

ahr:167 max:176 spiked:25/26c rhr:40 slept:8.0

I was very quick over the first half of the course, but a bit slower over the second half. It was quite dry, but it was wet under foot. Best time yet by 10 secs.

65% to 70%(139 bpm). Run down to Morton bridge and then along the canal and back. Got just passed golf course in 44 mins. It was a hot, dry day. By the end my legs were heavy and my hips were beginning to hurt. I will keep it at this length of time along the canal for recovery runs until my weight has dropped.

Run (Trail) 27:24 [4] 5.1 km (5:22 / km) +100m 4:54 / km
ahr:160 max:167 spiked:7/27c rhr:40 slept:8.0

The normal run.
Very wet and slippy underfoot with the grass making forward motion difficult. Legs were a little tired after yesterday and I really felt it going up the hill. I need to build in some hill work.
