Note
Visited MIT. MIT seems very good, which was nice after being so dissapointed by haverford, swarthmore, and Yale. What seems most excellent is that there are large numbers of very smart people working together on very hard work. I saw Catherine there, but she was rushing around and didn't see me. How was it? I will have to talk about all the colleges with all of you lakeside orienteers when we return

XC Racepace 13:00 [3]
Dashing around yale to get to the introdutory chemistry class. Yale was rather dissapointing. Everyone there is very happy, but the sciences are all taught in massively boring lecture format. My cousin who is there said that the lower level physics and mathematics courses were far too easy and no fun at all. He has since switched from physics to political philosophy.

Strength (stairs) 20:00 [3]
This is added out of irritation at the frightening number of times I had to climb the stairs in my grandparents house in philadelphia. The kitchen and dining rom is on a different floor than my bedroom which was on a different floor from the door to outside
C • Thats row homes for you!!!!... 1

Walking 1:00:00 [1] 2.0 mi (29:59 / mi)
Dist. and Time are appx.

Walked around philadelphia with my parents. We are staying with my dad's dad and step-mom near rittenhouse sq. Philadelphia is nice because it isn't endless skyscrapers, and people actually live downtown. Tomorrow I'm visiting Haverford (bless you). How did science olympiad go?
C • Second by a few hairs. :
