Good day today but I feel the early start may have scuppered the chance of a great result but a positive feeling nonetheless. Reasons not to orienteer in summer. Wading through head high bracken.

Feel like Quintana. Lose a lot of time at the beginning and spend the rest of the competition scraping whatever time I can get out of other competitors.

Ran from home to uni of Sussex.
Played cricket yesterday and did a fair bit of bowling and batting and am in DOMS party today. Back and right hamstring the worst. First 15min tough then eased into it. Lovely descent through stammer at the end to get the legs moving
