Took it easy and skipped a load and did some stretching and rolling instead as my legs still aren't feeling fabulous.

FWTN Liberton.
Aim was to tempo little bits and take it easy at other times. To 1 there was a massive open gate in an uncrossable fence. I went the legit way then the map was wrong and I got confused. On the way to 2 I double checked it was the map wrong and not me. Someone had now caught me up! Guessing he went through the gate. He then stood with me for a sec and I said 1 was over there so he followed me to 2 without going to 1. Then to 3 he crossed the uncrossable fence again and got ahead. Caught him up then he stuck behind me. He was fast enough I didn't want to put the effort in to drop him and so was thinking should I tell him he cheated now or at the finish. I don't particularly like talking to strangers especially to just call them cheats at a fwtn. During these musings I missed a junction ran off the map had to relocate and never caught him up again :).

Times like these I think EUOC need some punishments for anybody who did cheat. (I'm suspecting some may have unknowingly) and if not now in the future. Need a scottish version of pints of gravy.

Legs felt really bad to begin with but WoL downhill is just wonderful for making you seem good and by the end was feeling only a little less than average.

Incomplete session with Peter.

4x200, 2x400, 1x500 (supposed to be 800), 2x400. I thought a speed session would be okay as my legs have been feeling good but that feeling didn't last too long. Also my stomach/bladder maybe was having issues and still sore throughout the rest of the evening.

(sick) (rest day)

Feeling a bit better but thought I would move rest day from Wednesday to today as I really didn't feel like training.

Got a bit of a head cold. A fair few other people in Edinburgh seemed to have it too. Not feeling too bad so left it all day and didn't get worse so wrapped up warm and headed out in the dark.
Legs feeling pretty good and apart from a small headache feeling good enough.

Arrochar Alps adventure with Liam and Mark. This is very tentatively a run because we probably spent 90min running 3 hours walking and 90min sliding. It was absolutely incredible with fresh snow and no wind so wasn't overly cold. The snow made it incredible slow going so we mostly settled in to just plod round and then slip and slide down the hill.
Above about 500m the cloud was down and I found the white everywhere very disorientating as at times you couldn't tell the difference between ground and sky. It made the navigation rather hard but apart from a few small wobbles I thought we did okay. I had troubles judging distance in the whiteouts and would often walk off small snowed over crags as I just couldn't perceive the changes in gradient. It was a weird sensation.
Was a fantastic day out though and happy to get 4 Munros under my belt which I think has doubled my tally.

The DOMS came back with a vengeance. I could barely walk and also feeling very tired. The first 200m were more of a waddle. Managed a 10min tempo but was unable to do some quicker stuff as my hamstrings were too sore so just went home.
