Nice and easy with Laura including a stop for some spontaneous bouldering in Craigmillar. Itching to get training as I haven't really trained for about 5 weeks now but going to keep it easy until friday to ensure I'm more recovered from Lairig Ghru+Snowdonia.

Meadows session with Liam 10min tempo then something I call the triangle session. Pretty much there are 8 triangles (or nearly triangles) attached to the south road of the meadows. Do one length hard then next length easy and you just have to do each length of the triangle hard before moving onto the next one. So it would be 24 reps in total of varying length and recoveries. Sometimes you got a long rep, short recovery and sometimes vica versa.
Turned out to be a bit further than I thought so skipped a couple of the big ones in the middle as Liam had to get to work.
The tempo was fairly hard work but happy with 3:24s on the meadows then on the short ones I was really struggling to breathe and had a bit of a headache and was weezing my way through the recoveries. It was fun though and the idea of the triangles is I had no concept of desired pace and ran off feel which is what I wanted.
