Easy with Laura up Cannon's point then across to Karapoti gorge. We took a map but the final section was logging area and the roads on the map didn't exist and new ones in totally different places were there. Eventually got most the way down not where we intended and just had to pop through 200m of bush down to the road.
This took 11min whilst gaining some bruises and losing some blood. NZ bush is proper crap.
Hip just niggling away as has been all week. About a 3.

Went and played a round of disc golf afterwards and aced the first hole which I think is the pinnacle of my sporting career so far.

On the gravel road by the riverbank. Ripping headwind for first 15min. Next 15 were nice with tail then last 10 got grim as it was a bit undulating and I was a bit cooked.
Average 3:31 maybe for 40min so happy with that.
