O event at Foots Cray Meadows. Convenient after a trip to Grandma's. A super easy area so was thinking of this more as a running session. Then completely spooned number 2, mostly incompetence and bit of a bad map. The map in general was pretty bad all over and a couple of controls in the wrong place didn't help but got a bit of a burn up nonetheless.

2 tempo efforts on new way lane. An undulating 2.67k road, took 9:10 out and 9:00 for the return. Then jog over to Belmont lane for 6 hills. About 80s starting fairly flat then ramping up.

Feeling pretty tired from the off but never got any worse so pleasantly surprised.

Last nice looking day for a while so headed out on a longer one to some more new trigs on the downs out west. Tracks were a bit rubbish as all farm gravel tracks but met Laura coincidentally near the end so showed her the baby pigs and tried to keep up while she freewheeled her way down.
