New map for the Sprint event, good little area on the scarp across the river from Bells Rapids. Nice to be out in the bush and not thick or prickly wasa bonus. Legs were a bit slow on the uphills but navigation was fine except a brain fade out of #10 when I ran 180 the wrong way for 150m knew something was odd but way to slow at picking it up so lost about 1.5 mins looking at the splits

Back home into a huge Westerly

Windance Bridge to city.

In and back from work, nice and easy in but a strong sea breeze to work into ont he way home

KP short run. First time for ages that I have not stopped at the rotunda for a drink, which is an excuse for a rest and did not feel stressed by the effort. All down to the temperature being reasonable also a nice sea breeze to make it feel better.

Gentle ride out to the Lighthouse, a few short steep hills to keep us honest in parts. Read all the signs and looked at the ocean and nice and not so nice houses in Flinders Bay and Albany Tce in Augusta, one old house in Flinders Bay is $950,000 asking price and there are plenty for sale so I think they are dreaming!

had big Coffee problems, first the Bakery whilst doing great bread and cakes there coffee is weak and not hot, the other coffee shop in augsta chose not to open on the Public Holiday when the town was full(go figure) so we stopped at Karridale butthey were closed, next Capel Vale winnery but changed to a very yummy soup - ended up at brew ha!

Solo this morning

Went the East side of the highway and then across to Caves road to avoid the drag on Bussell Hwy, back road was very quiet with only one Roo which decided ti wanted to head the same way as me, and kept up around 28/29 km/hr for a couple of kilometres until it worked out it could head off into the paddocks where it was happy bouncing along with a bike chassing!
