Orienteering race 23:22 [4] 3.83 km (6:06 / km) +32m 5:52 / km
(sick)

State Sprint Champs at Murdoch Uni

Caught Rob West and Jack Dowling at #3 and ran the rest of the race swapping lead with Rob. Got caught in the dead end trap at #12 & 13 and lost a few seconds, maybe need to swap to the newest glasses as could not see the finest detail on the run. Lee came by at #8 and neither Rob nor I could stay with him

Ended 2nd in M55 but Simmo M65 and Oliver M14 were also ahead of me plus some ladies!

Road Cycling 1:13:00 [3] 35.0 km (28.8 kph)
shoes: Colnago CLX

Out to Mt Henry Bridge and back. Nice morning only a slight wind and nice to cruise along on the roadie without panniers!

Back for a coffee at Little Pantry which was nice. But the coffee was $4.00 ~ E3.00 while in Europe it would be E2.50. Also noted that soup and bread was $13.00 whilst we had similar in Europe for lunch it was E4.00 - who says Perth is expensive - I do!

Running 35:04 [3] 6.3 km (5:34 / km)

DNA loop plus a sand track after I meet Anthea

Hamstring still a bit tight but not as bad as Tuesday

Note

Excess Baggage:

Just weighed the 4 bottle of bubbles and 2 reds acquired in Paris and were weighing my panniers down 9.3kg - explains the effort to get up the hill from Dover

Across to Rider Choice and back after I had the bike serviced, hopefully the nasty noises are now gone

Running 29:38 [2] 5.0 km (5:56 / km)

Back to KP for a Tuesday run, started Ok but hamstrings both very tight and sore so turned it into a jog and enjoyed a warmish evening between the showers

Back to work today with 1,350 emails to wade through, and lots of people to talk to to find out what is new and not so new in the time we have been away.
