Road Cycling 1:37:00 [3] 38.36 km (23.7 kph) +170m
shoes: Colnago CLX

Out along the river to Bayswater and back via the railway and through the city.

Perth link development seems to have stagnated with temporary barriers and no sign of any work happening towards the Arena end.

Running warm up/down 24:55 [3] 4.34 km (5:45 / km) +58m 5:23 / km
shoes: Black Asics GT 2000

Waited in the car park until 5:29 thinking I am going to be able to give Juffy and Noel some shit for not showing up when there was a light shower of rain. They both showed up so ya bo sucks to the others who were not there. Jan F excluded who thought no one would show so did not go to the usual start spot and we caught her on the Broadwalk

Running 57:47 [3] 9.03 km (6:24 / km) +84m 6:07 / km
shoes: Black Asics GT 2000

Late afternoon lap of Kings Park. Was feeling stuffed when I got up to the Bali Memorial but got better from there as it is mostly downhill from there.

Loaded the GPS via the travel computer from the 310 with minimal pain, which is better than most times when I had had to reset things to do with Garmin.

MTBO race 1:20:21 [3] 18.32 km (13.7 kph) +50m
shoes: Avanti Mountain Bike

Urban MTBO at Applecross. Lost of stopping and starting and looking at signs to work out the answers to the clues.

Manged to finish just as the rain was starting which was a good result.

Would likely have been 5-10 minutes quicker if I had taken the road bike, but the map board did not fit the handle bar so settled for the knobbly tyres. At least on the MTB I could cut across the grass in a few spots which would have been hard to do on skinny tyres.

Good fun way to spend the morning.

Road Cycling 1:45:48 [3] 37.66 km (21.4 kph) +204m
shoes: Colnago CLX

To Burns Beach to catch a frog and then the railway back to Leederville and cruise back to home.

Too many walkers, prams and wandering bikes on the path north of Scarborough, interesting windy path through the dunes but not conducive to a fast ride, with blind corners and short rises.

Road Cycling 17:34 [3] 5.35 km (18.3 kph) +14m
shoes: Colnago CLX

Station to home

Re run of the South Perth *Not Heirisson Island* event

http://www.attackpoint.org/sessiondata.jsp?session...

Took a different route but took longer and ran further so I guess I got it right on the day.

Running 31:48 [4] 5.87 km (5:25 / km) +72m 5:06 / km
shoes: Black Asics GT 2000

DNA Tower - ran hard up the Broadwalk, saw tRicky having a rest on his bike at the tower, so had chat for a few minutes then pushed it hard back around the route.

Fastest time for a year or more - not running for a couple of weeks is obviously good for running
