Road Cycling 25:00 [3] 8.0 km (19.2 kph)

Cycled up to Kings Park for my volunteer role, helping set up for the PIAF opening tonight.

Anther couple of hours twisting wires into lanterns, then laying out lights on the grass and finally putting the lanterns on top of the lights. The lanterns made by school kids are paper mache so not going so well in the rain. I wonder if they will survive one night never mind three!

Got pretty soaked with the lights and lanterns and then a squall came through as I was cycling home so I got properly soaked then!

Ran slowly up to the DNA Tower and then on to the 30 minute mark before walking back the last section.

Muscle still not 100% but still improving

Note

Spent 4 hours poking wires through paper mache "seed pods" for the PIAF opening event. Hope the rain moves away and the crowds come

Checked out the trails around Sunset for the LOST Valentine picnic next Tuesday. One new trail down the bank from the old hospital

East Perth and back.

Had to stop on the sharp hill near the bridge at Claisebrook when some dumb cyclist came down the hill on the wrong side as I was starting to go up!

Also checked out the new restaurant complex at Point Fraser, looks like a nice facility, from the outside at least. No coffee shop as yet but I sure one is coming soon.

Walk then run in Kings Park. Pushed the runs out to 1km sections.

So far so good and only some minor "awareness" of the ache in my bum muscles / tendon
