I had not run a step since the Orienteering in Czech at the end of July which is one of the longest lay offs from running for years.
Short run along the side of the Thames to see if my legs were up for it.
I have had a stiff back for the past few weeks so was not sure how it would go, so I took it slowly. Spent 5 minutes stretching at the turn around and another 10 minutes when I got back. Seemed to have a positive impact on my muscles but I need to focus on stretching which I had not done on the bike ride.
