at Gwelup checking control sites for the Metro in a couple of weeks, lots of map changes, new fences in the reserve, new subdivisions, infill in previous vacant land

Looking good for an interesting course, the bike option should be good as well as the foot

Up early for Christmas Day and managed to keep with tradition and run to Cottesloe, but it was a mental struggle around 4km and then again up Eric St but the mind was strong and I made it the whole way! All be it 5 or 6 minutes slower than the previous slowest time!

Saw one other runner near Shenton Park Station and a few cyclists.

A large crowd at Cottesloe for the Christmas Day Park Run, looked to be 150-200 people.

Manged a quick dip in the ocean which was lovely as was the croissant / ham / rum balls / mince pies washed down with a lovely fresh Moscato de Asti.

Friday river ride with Carol & Nicole, anticlockwise for a change

Ended up at La Gallette in Nedlands for almond croissants and pain au raisin.

Most bizarre thing this morning was a fellow cycling on Matilda Bay, I saw him coming towards me with no hands and I thought he was fiddling with his phone, but no he was eating his breakfast. A small tub of yogurt with a spoon and a banana!
