City Beach Metro MTB Event

Managed to hold on for 2nd way behind tRicky

No major errors just dithered in the circle a couple of times trying to see the control.

Nice fun event and good to have 9 people in the Bike class

GPS turned itself off, not sure why it does that?

Road Cycling 2:02:18 [3] 50.32 km (24.7 kph) +214m
shoes: Colnago CLX

Made a longer and harder ride today.

Took off solo from the Narrows to see if I could get around Mt Henry and catch the group before the coffee shop in Swanbourne. Managed an average just over 27 km/hr for that 38km section of the ride. Caught Chas just before the Montessori school on he coast and then the other on Marine Parade. Tried and just failed tot get to the coffee shop before Chas who took Curtin Ave

Nice ride even if a decent Easterly blowing that was not too much help except on Burke Drive. Fastest I have sustained for some time.

What a difference a day makes,

rain all gone and sunny but warm and humid with not much wind so not great conditions.

Cracked and walked a couple of times but at least this was the first time in ages that I have even tried to run two days in a row.

Donated to AP today - great job by Ken to keep providing the site and happy to sign up for the service.

A lovely wet day and a run in the warm rain.

Did not see a single person in Kings Park, what a lot of wimps with a few drops of rain keeping people indoors

Struggled up to the DNA Tower but felt a bit easier on the way back.

Back to Clancy's for a coffee with the Fizzyred fish

Home from Clancy's City Beach - into the Mad Dogs and Englishmen category, around 38deg with a hot Easterly and much hotter than yesterday when I was putting out controls for the MetrO
