Walking 1:30:00 [1] 4.5 km (20:00 / km)
shoes: Ascii 2000 Oct 2016

Was volunteering at the Perth Festival.

The U-Theater had a meditation event in Kings Park, so 40 minutes doing Thai Chi style meditation by the DNA tower after doing a bit of traffic management, followed by a gentle stroll through the Botanic Gardens to the reflections pavilion where we had another meditation.

As one of the other volunteers said, a great enforced chill out first thing in the morning.

Walked home from the DNA Tower afterwards.

GPS has deleted all the history so it must have been very chilled!
4 PM

MTBO race 59:39 [3] 12.51 km (12.6 kph) +136m
shoes: Avanti Mountain Bike

Fun Swanbourne MetrO event, tried for the was but was 5 short, includiign 113 where I did not go far enough into the park and decided to cut my loses when it did not make sense.

Very hard to plan a good route especially on the bike so just kept going and find controls along the way. Was racing Simon (on foot) for a fair section of the way and then Bjarne (visiting German Elite, who was on a bike) blasted past me. Manged to get one control over him when he missed a lane but he disappeared pretty quickly after that.

Up and around Kings Park, checked out where the fire went last week and it looks like it was started near the Tennis Courts and burnt across and behind Hale Oval and out to Thomas St.

Lots of trees been cut to avoid them falling on passers by!
