Walking from Zamia Cafe to Snap in the city for orienteering errands - picked up the certificates for the Sprint Champs on Sunday.

Nice sunny day again in Perth, might be the last for a few days as a front is on its way this evening.

Another unimpressive effort at running.

My knee was hurting at the start but settled down after I got into Kings Park. Struggled on the up hill but managed to keep going once I started down hill and was a bit more warmed up.

Orienteering race 1:01:02 [3] 5.2 km (11:44 / km) +201m 9:50 / km

Jumbuck Hill, H3 Course

Made a meal of control 5 and lost around 10 minutes which was enough to see Dan and Tony take 1st & 2nd.

Lots of tricky slopes and as ever at Jumbuck hard to pick which rocks are mapped and the clearings. I wonder if it was Lidar contours if that would help?

Nice course setting with legs across the slopes and some route choice on the longer legs
