Perth Festival work on crowd control at the Boorna Waanginy event.

Huge crowds of people enjoying the light show. Likely that 200,000-250,000 people across the four nights with 60-80,000 on Monday night. No hassles and most people seemed very happy wandering along in the cool evening. On Sunday night one lady came and gave Lindt Balls to the volunteers - nice lady

Kept the GPS running to see how far I walked in a small section outside Frasers restaurant, did 2.3km in about 3 hours back and forth mostly picking out people in wheel chairs and people with kids in strollers and directing them to the paved path and away from the lawn crossing.

Standing up for 5 hours is not the best for backs!
