Bush Walking 41:08 [3] 2.62 km (15:41 / km) +165m 11:56 / km
ahr:113 max:144

Finch-Hatton Gorge inland from Cape Hillsborough, nice fast flowing creek with waterfalls in rain forest. Very much not WA

Bush Walking 23:09 [3] 1.83 km (12:40 / km) +29m 11:45 / km
ahr:103 max:129

Last section of the bush walk, had to restart the GPS as it seem to lose its way.

Beach walking 57:33 [3] 4.27 km (13:29 / km) +77m 12:22 / km
ahr:98 max:146

At Cape Hillsborough, out along the beach and back via the Beachcomber Track. What a contrast to Airlie Beach, quiet end of the road caravan park and national park. No noisy pubs, $1m yachts etc

4 PM

Mountain Biking 1:03:38 [3] 14.06 km (13.3 kph) +190m
ahr:126 max:156 shoes: Avanti Mountain Bike

Out to the Haywood Gully loop, claimed to be easy, but I would say moderate lots of rocks and roots, a few bits walked to avoid a a tRicky moment.

Decent hill on the road from and back from the Caravan Park, had to drop to granny gears.

12 PM

Bush Walking 1:53:14 [3] 4.46 km (25:24 / km) +86m 23:10 / km
ahr:97 max:135

We sailed over to Whitsunday Island on Lady Enid, an ex racing yacht of some pedigree, came back under sail at 9 knots, which apparently is good.

Walked over the headland to Whitehaven Beach, white sand, blue sea, cloudy sky.

Great sunset and moon rise on the way back to Airlie Beach, photos to come on Facebook when I get them downloaded.
6 PM

Ocean sailing 4:30 [3] 1.01 km (13.5 kph)
ahr:63 max:71

Logged 1km of the trip back from Whitsunday Island to show the speed under sail.

AP had it as Mountain Biking, clearly I am not that good a rider to cycle the ocean!
