Warm-down - 5-10 minute jog around the parking field trying to think up positive things from the race and things that I have learnt - DON'T LET PEOPLE DISTRACT ME. :/ :/ still managed to burst into tears when i got back to the minibus - thanks kirstin for trying to cheer me up! (:

Warm up/down (JOK Chasing Sprint. (:) 50:00 [3]
(sick) shoes: Addidas Swoops. NEW.

All my warming up and down before and after both races. Knew I should do quite a lot as I didn't want to completely stiffen up for the next day. (: Proud I actually did lots though, and stretching too. (:

Orienteering 23:06 [4] 3.3 km (7:00 / km)
shoes: Addidas Swoops. NEW.

JOK Chasing Sprint - Prologue.
From some map-geeking I could tell that it would be easy to lose quite a lot of time by getting confused with paths and not having a definite plan for each leg. So I took number one pretty slowly and was happy to get it bang on. (: Gained confidence from that and sped up a bit - but still not really fast as one silly mistake could put me way down for the chase.
One thing i need to work on is being unecessarily hesitant, on number 6 I think I lost a bit of time checking my map when I wasn't gaining anything from looking at it. Apart from that a good steady race, with not much time lost. (: Putting me in a good position (6th) for the start of the chase. (:

Orienteering race 25:30 [5] 3.7 km (6:54 / km)
shoes: Addidas Swoops. NEW.

JOK Chasing Sprint - The Chase. (:

Running 1:00:18 [3]
shoes: Addidas Swoops. NEW.

A very enjoyable run with Elle and JonX. (:

Note

Shopping in Glasgow all day too. (: Thankfully my blisters didn't suffer too bad from walking around all day. Succesful trip; could almost be a strength session. :P

Orienteering (Night 'O) 28:00 [4]
shoes: Inovs

FVO Night 'O at Dumyat.
I stupidly decided to wear my old inovs as my swoops were drying as I had washed them. But now I remember why I gave them to mum, they don't agree with my feet!
So I stopped after number 6, and now I have blisters on both my heels! :/ :/

Warm up/down 45:00 [2]
shoes: Inovs

Warm-up up up to the start.
+ warm down all the way back from number 6 - which happened to be almost the furthest point away!

Pilates 25:00 [2]

With being off school this week I have quite a lot of spare time. So as I was feeling a bit bored I decieded to do some pilates as I missed the usual monday sesh. (:
