I was going to try for 10 miles, but it seemed hot and I just didn't have it today.

I was going to do about 7 miles, but I bonked after 2.5 miles. I walked a couple of times and then slowly jogged home. The problem was that I had a late lunch and thought I could skip dinner and still go running. That didn't work.

I felt tight and slow. I ran slower than I did for my 10 mile run on Saturday.

Plyometrics as described on page 46 of the May 2008 issue of Runner's World magazine: 50 yards of bounding for distance, 50 yards of skipping as high as possible with a high knee.
