today i decided to run on the treadmill for my 20 minutes. i did 10 mins. at my normal practice pace. then i sped up to a race pace for 5 mins. and went back to my normal pace for 5 mins. i felt pretty good.

today was my first 5K race ever. i ran at tel hai. The corse is up on their website
http://www.telhaicamp.org/downloads/5k-Course-2009... there were so many people there that to avoid getting trampled you had to get out in front of everyone in the begining and then go at your normal pace when the pack started to thin out. i think my pace was to fast to start because by the time i was on my second loop i was dead tired
this was my first core building work out with the indoor team. it really worked because i was sore for the next couple of days. we do core after running every monday and wednesday.

today was my second day of practice and i was still sore from friday i took the day off on saturday. i felt okay starting off but the longer i ran the worse i felt.
