The OMM went pretty well. Simon, considering it being pretty much his first fell experience, never mind OMM, was resolute and kept going well.
I held up my side of the bargain and navigated us safely round both days, although with a fair procession of runners on the B, this wasn't too challenging at times.
We ended up 9th on the course, which I think is about as good as we could have hoped for. Mainly, we finished, enjoyed (in that reflective sort of way), and came out unscathed, and both confirmed we had no desire to share a night in a tent together again anytime soon.
