Few words to describe the headwind and non stop rain in the face but there was only one solution, get out the lunch pail and work. A bonus to the disappointment of my first ever wave 2 start (3:10 BQ missed the 3:09 wave one cut) was that Meb was there, I went right to the front, introduced myself and started with him! Steady pace throughout the day, picked it up a bit at the end with a 6:40 closing mile...
