Run hills 1:15:00 [3]

Karamu walkway, from 4 brothers, across OMR and on a bit before turning back. Wasn't feeling too great and didn't improve on the run as sometimes happens. So ending up turning probably about 5 minutes earlier than even the least ambitious version of the plan, which I think was still enough to almost get on to the 'far' end of the Waikoha map (though I've only been up there once so can't say for sure it was those pointy rocky hills in the next paddock or some other ones). Was still good to get out despite being such a struggle and I'd be keen to repeat some other time when I'm feeling more energetic.

Social climbing 1:30:00 [3]

Nothing new made but got one or two technique-tricks finally making sense. Also not much time on the ropes as my usual buddy was away, it was a quiet night, and Amy and Cam were getting another newby into lead climbing. But I did lots of bouldering (sometimes successfully) while waiting for the odd moments when one of them was free, so probably as much wall-time as usual if not more, and hopefully stored a few more moves into the muscle memory in the process...

Run warm up/down 6:00 [3]

Warm-up. No warm-down, but I did walk home.

Run race 23:09 [5] 5.0 km (4:38 / km)

Eastside. Definitely not 100% but running out of chances for one last pb (and sub 22:30) so made myself do it. Right on target up to about the halfway mark, at a hard-work-but-doable pace but from there the climbs started getting significantly steeper than they were a few weeks ago, the people I'd been either running with or had in sighting distance starting easing away and nobody was coming up from behind to take their place... and the whole thing started to fall apart a bit. Still, 5th fastest time ever....
