Run (off-road) 1:25:30

Horoeka Track then pylon roads to where the line crosses the road (I think the top of Korau spur) and return. Discovered some new bulldozing that semi-contours from the single track below spaghetti junction to the top of Tawhai track. Could eventually settle down to something of interest to the rogaining types once it has had some sun on it, but unfortunately at the moment it is way too squishy and slippery to try to run (so the mostly walking along that stretch is probably the reason I still felt good at the end of a longer than expected run). And even more unfortunately, they've taken it right through some surprisingly fairly mature-looking forest when it doesn't seem to ever get very far from the boundary with the scrubby pines! (and it has no reason for existence unless the bulldozing is going to carry on down the single-track to where the lower pylon road ends :-( ) Took the existing roads/track on the way back for that stretch, much better for running.
