Social climbing 1:00:00 [4]

At the Y. Feeling knackered right from the start, probably didn't help that first climb post warm up had multiple lift ups on double-hand holds, which I find pretty hard work. Completed it though, I think the highest grade I have completed since getting back into this (can't recall now if it's 15 or 16). Still had a decent length and reasonably successful session after that, though I'm not sure if I was ending up on strength climbs all night or it just felt like it.

Had one of those familiar face out of context moments, and by the time I'd made the connection the person must have left. Lizzie would know - is Rita was-Homes into climbing and still in Christchurch?

Nga Puna Wai Sprint. Wasn't sure if this would be any good but went anyway as getting a bit stir crazy. Glad I did, as was a fun course of 3 very different parts - easy nav but tricky route choices through the sports centre, a terrain section along the stream, then a loop through a school just big and complex enough for some technical sprint stuff. Other than a few ankle-defined route choices and having to slow right down for the stream bit, no serious issues for the foot. A bit sore this morning but not really any more than a usual day. Probably never got fast enough to put it at serious risk - was feeling sluggish and unfit. And just a few seconds lost here and there on the technical side of things.
