Nice walk out the back of TT and up the wee hill at the back with Hazel. Back before the heavens opened.

Hols followed by visitors catching up with me. Glad I only had 2km junior PR and roller blading on the agenda today.

Both shoulder and glute/piriformis/h/s grumbling. Back to reality after a fairy tale week.

Braved a real ride up to the ridge and beyond. No damage to h/s.. I think... and massively enjoyed myself :-)

15 mins legs only, with fins for a bit to try them out. Shoulder v achey, not able to pull properly. Then 45 min lesson on tumble turns. Comedy moments, mainly due to getting disoriented!! Rather a lot of practice needed.

Worth noting only because it's been so long since I went biking for real. To the shops n back, the off-road way.

Day off today....h/s have had a lot of workouts and really tired/tight. Shoulder not great. Sun shining. Kids pool sun beds calling. Zzzzz.

Kids did the family aquathlon as a team, having already played footy for 90 mins and done the kids club Olympics. M swam 100m then H ran 1km. Soooo proud. Interesting to see the various interpretations of 'family'!!

Managed about 20m before gave up with shoulder pain. Swimmer's shoulder perhaps. Been bugging me for a week after tweaking it stretching, but now it's definitely more than a niggle.... morning exercise arm flapping etc not helping of course. No sports left now??!

An hour of padel (tennis/squash combo) with the hubster...hilarious in gale force (warm) winds! And 'Family beach day' etc

Pilates reformer. Massively disappointing. Not only was it more like a fitness pilates, the instructor didn't advise on difficulty levels or help with technique.

Family athletics. 100m relay, long jump and javelin. Team I was at a bit of a disadvantage with no 'dad', an injured mum and two under 8s, compared to some of the 'grown up' families!! Full marks for fun and effort tho.

Supported OWS in the lagoon. Couldn't not. Great to be back OWS, even if it was salty and choppy. 1.9km, guessed time.

Ab attack. This hurt so much less than last year, I guess thanks to recent gym work. Plus 5min h/s specific.

Thought I should do some swimming related stretches last night and seem to have tweaked my left biceps tendon. You couldn't make this stuff up. Still, so ill had to take a day off work so not exactly missing anything.
