Tried to go for a "walk" whilst the kids were at the Halloween disco. Turned back after 500m - too sore. Channelled my frustrations into scooping out the pumpkins and making soup. Bah.
Have now finally accepted I am going to have to stop spinning classes for a while to see if my h/s will improve at all. There's not many fun cardio activities left - waaa :-(

Raploch gym induction, tiny stepping for 10 mins and a few weights.
Wallace HS up to Wallace Monument (well steep!), loop round Abbey Craig and then most of the shorter ladies' run loop. Not noticed how steep some of the hills are before (whilst running) - proper physical and technical on the mtb. Some way to being able to ride the route properly in the dark so I can join the ladies' run!
Hamstrings sore and tight - both, not just the injured one. Had to can the planned spinning sesh after my lunchtime tootle on a Boris Bike made things worse.
CSCup @ Tankersley. Blue Women 6.7km 180m
Did the job and got 91 points, but agony to run, even with a concerted effort to use short strides. Agony to sit in the car for 4 hours home too.
Another gorgeous day. Family fun with 2 other families, from Coylumbridge through Rothiemurchus then up to Loch Morlich. Fun ride back down the cycleway after a tea shop. H on tagalong.
White course with M. Worthy of logging only to note that I managed to keep my stride really short and not aggravate my h/s tooooo much. No way I'm going to be proper running any time soon though :-(

20 mins effort up to the top and then some technical stuff back down. Didn't aggravate h/s too much ... I think.
