Feeling very brave - joined the tri club so I can get some serious swim training and coaching in :-) Survived the hour surprisingly well, and was much faster than I expected - will have to move up a lane soon! Main issue was the raging cramp in my arches and calf by the end.

NB Remembered why I didn't carry on with tri at uni .... you have to swim at the crack of dawn or late at night, everyone is totally hard core and trains ALL the time, no-one seems to have other past-times, and they all have loads of disposable income. Added to that is I'm the only one with small kids!
