Orienteering 56:01 [4]

Holme Fell - Blue 1 - 5.2km 265m
Crashed out a bit last night - knackered! Managed to get going ok today though, but then lost over 2 mins on a 1 min leg at no 5 - doh - too busy planning ahead. Had no proper plan on the long leg to 10 and the last few to the finish completely lost concentration. But despite the less than perfect run, had a really fun time, plus there was an added bonus of sunshine.

Orienteering 37:29 [4]

Tarns Howes Middle - Blue - 3.6km 210m
"Weather", track parking, trying to organise shadowing round the white/split starts/finding a babysitter for H.....but all ok AND managed to not be anywhere near last starter! Nearly went off totally the wrong way to no 1 though (I could blame the loud housewife white mob ;-)). Never felt I got going and not smooth with my o'ing at all, plus it was super slippy muddy rocky tastic. Put my head down on the nice long uphill leg towards the end which seemed to do the trick results-wise; rare to beat HelenW!

Trail/Road running 31:00 [1]

Journey home and 3 days of racing = sore legs! Lunchtime joglette with a colleague massively helped.

Orienteering race 27:52 [4]

JK Relay @ Storthes Hall
First leg on W120+ 3.6km 130m climb
Same course as the Short Men and similar to the young (often headless) boys, although it all got spread out quick quickly. Managed to hold Amy off by being smooth and clean, and came back 1st! Rona and Kirsty continued in fine form and FVO took the trophy again, woo!

Too knackered to WD, and luckily H wanted to the do the string by herself, phew!
