got back from Rotorua...went on luge... then i have boys high ball so cant have time to run!

was really cold in Rotorua and no 1 wanted to run with me so i didnt run but we did a lot of walking and went down this scenic track to a waterfall which was cool.

went for a run in the morning because was going to Rotorua with school. it was hard i hate running in the morning and my calves are still real sore

did some pilate exercises in the morning

went for a 75min long run today at reasonable pace...went in reserve 4 a tad and then around outskirts of havy...was ok...had to stop 3 times for about 30sec each time to stretch my really tight calves and front right shin!!ahh...hurts...
other than that felt good

Running warm up/down 40:00 [3]

20min warm up and 20min warm down b4 reps...right calf and right shin muscle was really sore....dont know whats wrong?felt like they were popping out!maybe its because all ive run is hills so might do a bit of flat 2mw?maybe?

Speed Work intervals 19:10 [4]

Did 4x1km reps with 90sec recovery in between....did them in the reserve thing at the back of Havelock High school...did 3.40 for each one...1st 2 were hard to get into and quite tough but then the last 2 were really good!!
calf and shin muscle still really sore when running the reps!!might con duncan into giving me a massage 2nite!lol
felt weird to do such long speedwork!very physical and tough

just went for a cruisy run around reserve and peak tracks...felt really tired and tight in calves!! felt better towards end of run

Did 10min of good stretching!!needed it because muscles felt like shit today!!! then did 20min of core exercises...was good today.
