my ass is sooo sore from yesterdays drills!! ahh!!

anyway... the rogaine was cool...very steep and open... managed to have quite a good route...a lot different from everyone elses... but as i do, i decided that it wasnt good enough and started to get the 3 in the forest down the far end that i had purposely left of my route as they would be very time consuming...and they were!!
so my route was changed and leaving me noo option but to give in towards the end and miss the last 5 controls out :(
silly me as i could have stuck with my route and only had to have left 3 out(the ones in the forest) as the ones i didnt get were actually very close together...

oh well.. next time...

running wise i felt pretty good and strong on hills today :) felt like i can actually run more

running drills etc with mike! was really good! makes me laugh everytime though :P me and amber have to stop being so silly about it!! but we cant help it because of our ADHD brother!! :P

after drills mike taught us some running racing techniques for hills and crests of hills to psyc out your fellow competitors ;)

very technical training in the Maze...was hardly running... was mega slow...but it was worth it!! made so many mistakes, but got better as i went on

rest day time!! :D looked back on training and realised i hadn't had a rest in 18 days!

only 10 to domain and 11min warm down

only had about 4hrs sleep last night and was mega busy all day...so i was very surprised i could run!

Running hills 31:00 [4]

did 6x longish hills in the domain...went up middle hill then down the other side...then hard along flat to the grass hill up to domain(killer!!) then along top till starts going downhill...downhill was our recovery for that way... on the way back we went up hill we recovered on...past museum, down hill, along flat, up hill in middle of domain, and recovered when started to descend...

then me and amber did 4x shorter hills in the middle of the domain rather than doing 2 longer ones again...

overall pretty ok... feeling quite a strain on the heart/lungs though :P

did some sprint training around the uni at the epsom campus... used maps and courses from nationals last yr.. me and amber did course 2 and took turns navigating.. felt really slow... but managed to orienteer okish i guess.. need more sprint training!!

6x1km in the domain with James, Ross, Toby, Gene, Matt, Amber and Imogene... was ok...actually felt pretty alright...think i am getting the hang of doing intervals :P

had 3min recoveries between each one... oh and i stopped when everyone stopped, so we had same recoveries, so wasnt quite 1km each time

cruise with amber and ross... got the sorest cramps ever in my lower belly... felt like i wanted to throw up, the pain was that bad! :( grr
