Long run today...
went up mt eden, through epsom campus, up and around one tree hill, back past st cuths, then up mt hobson, through newmarket and looped around the domain and then home....
so i did a lot of hills today which was good :) ran with duncans garmin again which was fun..paced myself really well! didnt even get that tired...felt awesome at the end :) took a leppin at halfway as i knew i may need it today...not sure if i did or not...oh well...
I guess i am happy with my pace as i was going up quite a few hills for a bit of it

Didnt actually have much time to run turns out...I felt pretty average all day too so I decided to just go for a short run..I treated it like a tempo and ran pretty fast...a lot faster than I usually do on these hills...Did my usual hill loop around and up mt eden and then an extra loop at the end on the streets, and I was still faster :P
Felt pretty tight in my legs which wasnt fun at all :/
It was a nice evening though...could here eden park and the singers rehearsing the national anthems which was cool...there were so many french supporters up on mt eden and they kept yelling at me and cheering me on..it was funny :P

rest day today...realised i sort of needed one...plus the arch in my foot is a little sore and its a bit swollen near the ball of my foot :/

warm up with james to the domain...just us two for intervals tonight...we had no friends...
I also used duncans garmin tonight which was fun

Running intervals 30:20 [5]

did 6x (500m, 300m) with 90sec then 60sec recoveries...
actually did a bit shorter as i stopped when james stopped so we had the same recovery times...
my average pace of each rep increased which was good...the first one was 3.55 k rate which was so slow...but managed to get into the 3.30s for a few of the rest of the 500ms...300m were good too...got a bit tired at the end of the sesh though

Did the usual loop up and around Mt Eden, then ran to the domain and did a loop on the forest tracks and back..legs felt tired from yesterday, although they didnt get worse and i didnt really lose speed, so that was good :) Nice weather conditions to run in this afternoon

Rassmus Strength after my run....was good...getting so tired and hard to hold the planks though...think i need to do this strength a bit more...havent done too much of it lately :S

morning run on my usual mt eden loop...felt like crap this morning, but once i started running i actually felt really good :)
but then...it was so freaking windy that I fell over onto a step thingy and nailed myself :( hit my shin, now there is a lump and a big bruise :(
It was so windy i had to tuck my t-shirt in as it kept flying up :P

10x 2min intervals with 1min recoveries...did these by myself around the rd at mt eden...was actually a really good session and felt good :) was fun!
was so windy again, so hard to run...

Wanted to do a 60min run at a medium pace, although felt like i was going to throw up which sucked :( So I just cut it short, but still tried to run faster...felt a bit better towards the end...went up and around mt eden a bit

did a little core and strengthening exercises...
then stretched for like an hour!!! :P
