Ran with Sam to backbana and met up with Annika.
Plan was to run 1 or 2 laps at a cruise pace. Felt good in the beginning but felt tired near the end of the first lap and considered just doing the one. Good thing I have good training buddies who convinced me not once but twice to finish the second lap ;) So grateful for that!
Tough running home, was super thirsty!

Evening fartlek run.
Left this quite late as I had planned my day of training terribly today. First I wanted to do intervals on the track in the morning although my foot was kind of sore (has been the last week), so I decided I could do intervals on the cross trainer at the gym instead. Planned to do this in the evening so I could watch EOC. Looked up the gym times just incase and it closed at 6pm on a Saturday! Shit I didn't know this...
Went out and did some sort of fartlek session instead. Foot was actually ok, so that was good. Planned to run mostly in stadskogen but there were just a million bugs that kept flying into my mouth and eyes!! grr it was terrible...popped out to the roads instead.

Nice evening run with Sam and Ross on some fun tracks in Nåsten :) Nice to have company on a Friday night as I don't know how long I would have lasted if I ran alone :)

Jogging down to Studenterna IP with Cristina and Sam as a warm up before the 5km. Felt kind of stressed after a busy afternoon and then rushing home ASAP as I locked up at work at 5:30pm...Felt a little calmer but nervous once we were down there.

Blodomloppet 5km race.
Physically felt pretty crappy today...got quite lactic very quickly. Always find the gravel path on the way back quite tough and my km times really slow down. Kept trying to push though as my goal was to make it under 20min.
When you think about the course it seems easy, but when running you realise that the beginning is all slightly uphill, then a sharp turn with a few 100m downhill and then flat(gravel) all the way back to the athletics track.

This was my best time since running this course, so I guess that shows some sort of level of how my fitness is this year :) Need to aim for getting under 19 next and getting closer to my PB! A lot of work to go, but pretty happy despite how the body felt today! :)

O intervals in Nåsten.
Hard with just 2 girls to really push, but tried to keep my navigation under control, which was a bit zig zaggy at times.
