Running around in the pouring rain trying to keep warm and keep an eye out for Sandra!

Venla relay. 3rd leg on the 3rd team. Feeling pretty good!

Managed to get sent out in a pretty good position. Some fast girls were around me too! Managed to jump on a train with Ausrine from Lidingö and then the Tisane 1st team. Felt actually that it was a good and comfortable speed! Long leg to the first one which went fine. They seemed to have a split to the 2nd control, so I lost them as I ended up making a mistake too :(
The controls after that were ok, a bit hesitant though... then a big mistake to the longer leg back...decided to go past number 3 and 2 as a route choice, but it totally passed my mind that I would be running in the opposite direction of a tonne of ladies! oops... maybe that got me a little flustered? Anyway, managed to stuff up big time with my compass control coming into the control...fluffed around for a good few minutes :( The rest was ok, I was just annoyed at my mistakes. Feeling sort of strong today which was a good sign! Just a shame my head couldn't stay on properly...

But...

The worst thing happened when I came to the finish. I went to download and they quickly ushered me off into this separate rooms where I had to wait in which the english translation was "the wailing wall" (haha I'm still laughing)...so of course I was a bit worried by this stage that I had done something wrong...
The guy showed me eventually where I had punched..it was another knoll close to 1... :(
I pretty much never mispunch and do it on a massive relay is the worst!! I must've been thinking about keeping up with those girls and getting the first emit brick into the control properly more than checking my code carefully...
Explains why I messed #2!
meh...shit happens...a few tears were shed...am totally guttered and feel bad for my team...guess it won't happen again though...

Very VERY short jog in the pouring rain after work and before travelling to the boat! Planned to do longer but had no time at all! Good to get out and get the legs moving at least.

ran 2 of the old O Kom courses in Nåsten and divided the controls up to do intervals with Lisa C, Lovisa and Anna. Feeling more confident on the second course of intervals. Was a bit iffy on the first map of intervals...small scale was hard to get used to!

5x2min then 5x1min with Sam during our lunch break. Sam got a bit sore toward the 1min intervals so had to stop. It was hard to keep pushing but tried my hardest to get them done :) Super warm today!
