Skiing (Classic ) 1:44:39 [3] 16.22 km (6:27 / km) +129m 6:12 / km

Not so great at classic. I just want to go fast and then I lose all technique and stress and just can’t get a good rhythm at all... started to feel good near the end but was rather tired.
Fell over in the beginning when I skied with Ken and I was on the ground tangled up for ages haha. Wasn’t much of a fall, I just slipped going uphill and then whacked my knee onto my ski and it really hurt! Was super stiff afterwards and must of pulled my hip flexor a bit...
wish I was up here longer to do more skiing and actually get better! Once a year is too little to properly learn...

Evening cruise to try and loosen up the tight legs. Felt good to do something else than just skiing. Very cold out! -10...much colder than up in Orsa

Up in Orsa Grönklitt with the club. Only skied once last year so am rather rusty. Decided to start out with skate. Went ok! Bit tired at times and was getting lazy with my technique but I tried to work on trying to pole with each glide which was fun when I got the hang of it. Did the hund och pulka track and then stormon ruby which was a bit harder to skate on so did hund och pulka again after that. Very tired climbing the hill back home! Almost walking haha

Skate at night. Tried to hold onto Hilda and Lisa but wasn’t quite good enough haha. Managed to catch them up every now and then when they would stop. Feeling a bit tired in my skate muscles now... was so tough going back up the hill to the cabin! Tracks were so bad for skate. Got a bit of cramp at times too

Warm up towards KG but was a tad late and had to try and find the group.
Then did drill and then strides

8x3min intervals with 1min recoveries. Was super tough as the air was quite cold and there was a bit of snow on the paths today but it helped a lot that I had studs on my shoes! Felt good and strong on the first 5 but then they started feeling tougher with the short 1min recoveries and it was slightly uphill too! Managed to keep on pushing and was lucky that Fay past me on the last one which made me dig in and try and sprint her at the end! Good fun!

Warm down back home. Calves a bit tight from having studs and running on snow fast and the lungs/throat feel a bit raw after the heavy breathing!
Good session given my sleeping patterns have still not fixed themselves yet...
off to Orsa Grönklitt tomorrow for a x country ski weekend... supposed to be -17! :O how on earth will I survive???

Plan was to cut off if I got tired but Lisa convinced me to just run the rest. Was super tired and then got quite cold but was fun to be out in the forest again!
The marshes were like highways! Super frozen and nice to run on but was a bit icy and scary at times!
