Warm up

Prologue (small o course to get warmed up) which was very tiring in the crust snow that didn’t hold!

Long training with the girls. Testing different route choices. Tough with the snow!! Fun with gals! Bring on 10mila 2018!

10mila test race. Unsure how much they will or should look at this given the amount of snow in the forest. Was a mass start with forked controls with lots of snow and tracking!
Very zig zag to my first control and then managed to catch the group until #3 where Hilda and I had a diff forking and lost Johanna and Kristin as we hesitated too much. Then it felt like running in a lot of people’s tracks. Tried to take my “own way” in the end of the long leg but lost a lot of time making my own tracks and lost Hilda’s back and Fay and Hanni passed me.
Fun training anyway even if it was hard to run fast. Still got the heart rate up and was tired after! Good snö puls training and good relay practice to push through and hang on.

Did a long course with Hanni. We took turns at leading and tried to verbalize what we were doing. Tough going with a lot of snow which had the crust on top that almost held. Very tiring falling through majority of the time!

Includes running to the start and from the finish.

Tisdagsbana P. Opted for a shorter one tonight as was feeling rather run down all day. Tough going in the deep and heavy snow! Really struggled in the end with my calf and foot etc... not good.
