Mora middle Day 2.

Very very exhausted today before I even started... pretty sure it's still my pollen allergies. Talked to some others in the club and they get prescribed an inhaler at this time of year when it is so bad. They say it is so helpful and gets you through this tough period. Maybe something to look into...or for next year at least?

Tried to start out aggressive and what I thought was running fast obviously wasn't if I look at splits... it is so weird to feel like you are pushing hard but hardly going anywhere and are so behind on splits!
Took some bad route choices at times and messed up the second to last control, but other than that, I was just slow...

Mora middle distance.

Mistake to the first control then a huge over 2min parallel mistake to 2...tried to get back into the flow but was a bit stressed at times. Made another mistake at 10. Otherwise I just have no power...feel totally empty atm :(

Skattunge where they had EOC 2012.

We were supposed to do O intervals but the scale was on 1:15 instead of 1:10, so the "intervals" were super long! Was tired already after a long first interval. Also screwed up the last control a bit...hard to read the detail on 1:15.
Had a group of girls to keep on running with which was nice. Was super gaffled although I just got slower and slower. Finished with Fay and we ran back together.
Cool but very physical map!

Windy today but a bit colder...still means there is a lot of pollen floating around...

This afternoons 10km will be fun, but I just hope I can keep a good threshold pace even with the pollen struggles.

Blodomloppet 10km.

First time ever doing the 10km (and first ever 10km race too!) so was excited to give it a go. Unfortunately I knew that I would struggle with my pollen and dust allergies especially when it was super windy today, but I just ran and tried my best despite the conditions. Was obviously slower than I would have hoped for or would have liked to have run, but it was still a good threshold training to keep on pushing when it felt tough!

Fun course apart from the very chaotic start...started behind too many slow people which made it hard to get by especially with all of the sharp turns in the beginning.

1min, 2min, 3min intervals with 1min recoveries.

Then I joined Rassmus and Lisa for a long jog whilst the others continued with the intervals...then joined back in for the last set of 3,2,1.

Still struggling a lot with the pollen...breathing becomes extremely heavy and I have no power in my body whatsoever! I really just want it to rain haha
