British Middle Champs

A nice little middle course at Hopwas (JK relays a few years back). A few mistakes over the course and felt heavy but reasonably happy, as i've been training quite hard this week. Forgot the compass but luckily Dave gave me his spare...

Fartlek run around Mayfield before getting the train down to Coventry.
Felt a bit tired towards the end. Fartlek consisted of 30s patches of sprinting..

Running intervals 20:00 [5] 4.5 km (4:27 / km)

10 x 400m at Dalkeith Track (40secs recovery).
Times: 67s, 66s, 65s, 65s, 66s, 65s, 66s, 66s, 67s, 64s.

Felt quite good as far as this session goes. Went as hard as i could without mortifying the flesh.

Windy day so the times a bit slower than usual. Did it on my own...

6 x 2minute hill intervals up Hillend. (1min jog down recovery). Real tough session in the rain...

Easy running warming up and warming down for the session - felt tired on the warm down as i pushed pretty hard on the intervals...

Running 1:03:00 [3] 13.0 km (4:51 / km)

Stuck the 'pod on shuffle and went for a steady run round Vogrie form my house. In the evening sun - perfect!

Felt lazy all day but came to life when i started to run - feeling fine.

Had my weekly ultrasound on the achilles - the physio said i can stop seeing her now ... damn!
