run/walk intervals 1:00:15 [4]
ahr:144 max:168 rhr:89 slept:6.0

GOOD training. Still tired from Sunday (and Saturday!) so I was surprised at how well it went.
Run intervals - 9:00-30:29 run! (turn around at bridge at 24:47,this is another new record duration), walk 3029-3234, run w/ hills 3234-3450 (legs burning), walk 3450-3701, gentle run 3701-4105, walk 4105-6015. Pace during last stretch 89 at start, 110 at end. Surprised that I had been runnning for over 8 minutes before pace went over 160, and it seemed to recover better today. Concerned about darkness, but with the extra-long running interval, I beat it today!

Rest Day
slept:5.0 (rest day)

Bad cramps with period today. Quite sore from yesterday's O' course on top of Saturday moving. Glad to take a rest day! Very tired, especially with cramp medication added in.

Rest Day
(rest day)

Planned to cut grass as low-key training to recover from yesterday's intensive workout, but all mowers need work. Back and butt too tired after collecting dog messes to work on mowers. Read attackpoint training ideas instead!

run/walk intervals 49:55 [4]
ahr:150 max:170 rhr:93 slept:6.0

Impending darkness controlled today's training:
5 minutes stretching, 5 minutes walk, 16:07 run from woods entrance to bridge (longest run interval yet!), power-walked next 15 1/2 minutes, 8 minute cool-down walk. Hoping this plus next two days off training will properly prepare me for Sunday at Pakim Pond. Starting HR-93, ending 111.

run/walk intervals 49:17 [4]
ahr:160 max:170 rhr:103 slept:6.0

00-0502 stretches; 0502-1000 walk; 1000-2430 run; 2430-31 walk; 31-35 run (included hills); 35-39 walk (dusk); 39-4130 cooldown jog, trying to keep heartrate under 164, stopped when it crossed; rest was walkout. Didn't want to push too much before tomorrow's volleyball.
Surprisingly GOOD training in woods. Thought some of the bumps and bruises from yesterday's fall might bother me, but they didn't seem to. I was a little stressed from the day and tired; but pleased with my effort.

Fight Maintenance Walk 1:06:30 [2]
slept:6.0

Dark when got home, so couldnt do running. Instead wore headlamp and trimmed back bothersome branches (mostly thorny!) on my running trail. Minimized stop time and walked aggresively in between. On way out of woods, tripped on something and fell in gravel-and-dirt area - bruises to both knees, mostly right, and cut palms. (Running pants clearly saved legs from more severe damage.) Took Ibuprofen and iced knee.

Wasnt supposed to be a rest day - was supposed to be 3-5 tough hours of Volleyball at Motiva picnic, but for the first time I can remember, they didnt have Volleyball this year.

Cut grass (Tractor) 3:00:00 [2]
slept:5.0

2 hours of this was after dark, using my headlamp. Cutting rototilled ground is hard work on the butt and leg muscles! (Had to miss dancing in order to finish lawn).

Cut grass (Tractor) 1:00:00 [1]

Recovery day, before planned activites Friday (dancing) and Saturday (volleyball). Not really rest day (if you ever rode our tractor, you'd understand!)

Volleyball (Outdoor) 1:30:00 [3]
slept:7.0

A little tired after Tuesday's run. Took about the first 45 minutes to get settled and not be breathing so hard. Terminated by darkness, not my condition or interest of others!

run/walk intervals 49:06 [3]
slept:6.0 (sick)

run intervals 4.5, 9, 2.5, 3, 4.5
still whipped and sore from square dance weekend at Cherry Ridge (danced afternoon and evening Saturday, all day Sunday, Monday AM). Someone has estimated that at a standard 2 hour square dance, one walks 5 miles!
